Effective 9/15/09, The Silver Lining will cease special orders on any Dessy Group product. Any orders made previously will be honored, and will arrive as scheduled.
The decision was a difficult one for us, because we do love Dessy's gowns. However, we have invested thousands of dollars in sample gowns and retail overhead only to lose sales to unscrupulous internet vendors. Time and time again, brides have approached us with unfixable complaints about late delivery, wrong colors, and wrong sizes that were ordered online. In an effort to quell the problem, we have elected to no longer carry gowns that are discounted online.
If you wish to purchase Dessy gowns, it is highly recommended to purchase them from a local authorized retailer. Go to http://www.dessy.com
